What We Do

Engage The Hague aims to foster connections and collaboration among LUC students, staff, and the broader community of The Hague. Together we can exchange expertise, share resources, and give local meaning to the LUC motto of "Building Knowledge for a Better World."

Our project is supported in part through a generous grant from the Leiden University Teachers Academy, a university-wide initiative overseen by Vice Rector Simone Buitendijk and designed to foster excellence and innovation in university teaching.  Dr. Ann Marie Wilson, Assistant Professor of History at LUC, was named one of the ten inaugural fellows of the Academy and is using its support to expand engaged learning initiatives and community outreach at the college. She will also teach the first Community Project courses in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016.
