Conference Planning: Intersections between Sexual and Cultural Diversity
This will take you a few steps beyond the city of The Hague (25 min on the intercity train, to be exact), but it is a great opportunity! RotterdamV, Rotterdam's "Kenniscentrum Homo-emancipatie," will be planning a September 2015 conference on the intersections between sexual and cultural diversity. The conference will take place in tandem with Rotterdam Pride, and will feature contributions by an international group of scholars, activists, and practitioners in the fields of social integration.
RotterdamV seeks two interns to help with the planning, organization, and execution of the conference. The work would take place between May and October 2015, and would grant free access to all events associated with the conference and with Rotterdam Pride. Qualified applicants will have a command of Dutch, but if you'd like to be involved and don't speak the language, never fear: there will be volunteer opportunities for non-Dutch speakers during the time of the conference itself.
For more information, please see the vacancy description.
Deadline for applications is April 3, 2015.
